The following summarizes the enhancements and new functionalities of the V1,R4 release of Digital Project.
Digital Project is now available for workstations running Windows Vista Enterprise Edition x86 and Windows Vista Enterprise
Edition x64.

Photo Studio
The basic rendering function  of Photo Studio is now included in the Designer configuration.
The more advanced functions remain packaged with Photo Studio and Photo Studio Optimizer.
Real time rendering
The capability to render shadows in real time has been added to the Designerconfiguration.
3D Annotations and Dimensions
The set of capabilities of this product already included in the Designer configuration (3D Plan, Section and Cut views, 3D annotations) has been
extended to include all functionalities of this product, with the exception of mechanical assembly tolerances, and surface roughness symbols.
These two new workbenches have been added for product and part documents.

Fitting Simulation
This product allows the user to define and simulate assembly and disassembly procedures thereby validating complex construction and maintenance operations at the planning stage. Fitting simulation is an add-on product that enables path optimization for the design of complex erection routing.
2D Layout for 3D Design
This product enables you to design 3D models in an advanced 2D drafting-like production environment, enabling
you to create layout views based on 2D geometry, while getting the most of other key capabilities such as dress-up, dimensions, annotations, 2D components,
use-edges, constraints, and outputs of profiles and planes, for example. Once your design is laid out in 2D sheets and views, user will be able to
print it directly or to generate a drawing sheet from it, and to add views that will illustrate it.

IFC: Interoperability through this format has been improved, in particular in the areas of Structural
Engineering and Architecture. -
Part to 3DXML now handles building elements.
3D DXF-DWG Import with link: Allows importing newer versions of the DWG files without loosing links
and attributes created using this imported data. e.g. clash reports.

- Creating a Spatial Structure: New commands facilitate the creation of a Spatial Structure and help to make the model IFC-compliant.
- Linking Building elements from different parts: You can now create external references to A&S objects from other parts.
- Creating Multiple walls: You can now automatically create connections when creating multiple walls
- New catalog for parametric stairs.
- New catalog for parametric railings.
- New catalog for sample curve and surface rationalization patterns.
