Digital Project™ Specialized Translators

GT has developed two Digital Project™ add-ons which provide STL and STEP integration: Digital Project™ STL Translator and Digital Project™ STEP Translator.     DIGITAL PROJECT™ STL TRANSLATOR PRODUCT OVERVIEW Digital Project™ STL Translator Add-On creates STL files in a fast and accurate way by tessellating CAD data. STL Translator enables import of existing STL files, display of meshes, and quality analysis. STL Translator provides tools for improving mesh quality by removing and reorganizing triangles. In addition, it allows the creation of thin offsets to obtain a watertight solid. Meshes can be exported as standard binary STL files for rapid prototyping machines.    PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Creates STL files from CAD data. Enables accurate tessellation with control fo the sag value and maximum length of edges. Imports existing STL files in binary or ASCII and IGES format. Checks mesh quality. Enables repair and modification of meshes.
