Distribution
Digital Project Student Edition will be distributed in two ways:
- To schools and academic institutions
- To students associated with a registered academic institutions
1. Academic Institution Licensing
$200 / Concurrent User / Year
The application requires:
- At least 1 faculty liaison who will be responsible for implementing educational or research applications of Digital Project. The faculty liaison should provide a short written statement on how the software will be used.
- An academic administrator who will validate enrollment of students for Student Licensing (below)
- A technical administrator that will be responsible for software & content installation and licensing.
Process
- Academic representative (likely a faculty member) submits the on line form to register, including number of users
- GT returns the academic licensing agreement and a quote for software
- Authorized representative of the school signs the academic licensing agreement and provides a purchase order, check or credit card payment for the software.
- GT sends out software
- School name gets added to pull down menu for Student Licensing (#2 below).
- Technical contact submits a license request. GT delivers 1 year license for the purchased licenses.
2. Students in Academic Program Schools
$150 / Nodelock / Year
Students enrolled in a Digital Project program school may purchase Digital Project Student Edition for installation on their personal computers. Students will be able to purchase licenses directly from the Gehry Technologies Web site.
Process
- Student obtains a target ID for their system by using the guide.
- Student submits web request and payment via Pay Pal
- Student enrollment is validated with administrative contact for their school
- GT emails administrator.
- Administrator emails confirmation of student's attendance.
- GT sends media to student’s mailing address and emails license file to student’s email address.
