Product Overview
Project Manager enables the creation and extraction of
architectural, engineering and construction modeling and
coordination information in the Master Model. It enables
generation of customizable reports, and modifications to
the model from these reports.
Digital Project’s attribute infrastructure provides the
technologies for creating and managing non-geometric
information associated with project geometry. Attributes
are organized in schemas, hierarchical class based sets
of typed attributes, with capabilities for defining
value types, selectable sets of values, or user defined
attribute values. Attributes may be further organized
into attribute packages (pre-defined sets of attributes)
and Dictionaries of attribute packages for easy sorting
in the user interface.
These definition and editing capabilities are enhanced
with robust viewing, filtering, importing and exporting
capabilities. The attribute technology automatically
generates user interfaces to manage defined attribute
schemas, including dialog boxes for setting attribute
values as well as viewing and filtering capabilities. A
powerful set of project management capabilities, built
on top of GT’s attribute technology, are included in the
product.
Attribute schemas may also be linked to definitions of
custom 2D drawing extractions. 3D geometry may be
filtered by attribute selections, and then processed for
dress up of 2D geometry on the basis of attribute –
value combinations.
This add-on to Viewer is included in Foundation and
Designer.
